Statkevich is in a punishment cell in Mahilyou prison, Marina Adamovich informed. The political prisoner was transferred from Shklou colony to Mahilyou.

“They want to make Mikalai believe that everyone has forgotten about him”  his wife Marina says. He has not received a single newspaper, brochure or book sent to him. The political prisoner is not allowed to go to church and talk to the priest. He talked to the priest at Easter last time. Statkevich has not been allowed to go to church ever since.

Mikalai Statkevich is the last ex-presidential candidate arrested in December 2010.
