Eduard Zelyankov is a youth opposition activist from the city Zhlobin.

Chronicle of repression

Eduard Zelyankov was arrested on 13 March 2006 for painting graffiti. He was charged under the article 193, part 1 (acting on behalf of an unregistered organization) and under the article 339 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus. In early June 2006, he was exonerated from the accusation of hooliganism due to lack of elements of the offense but court in Zhlobin sentenced Eduard to a fine for the activity on behalf of unregistered organization the Young Front.
