Politician and journalist, who was recently released after nearly three years of freedom restriction, visited the Minsk office of the organization and thanked all the members of the BAJ for support while he was in prison.

Pavel Sieviaryniec was arrested on the night of 19 December 2010, after the events in the square and sentenced on 16 May 2011, to 3 years of restriction of liberty under the article for organizing mass riots. In the same trial was convicted member of the Belarusian Association of Journalists Irina Khalip.

Pavel was released on 9 October 2013.
