Parents of Artsiom Prakapenka visited their son in Mogilev Penal Colony. The conversation lasted two hours and was carried out through a glass window, using the telephone handset.

Anatol  Prakapenka, father of political prisoner said:

– We visited him and talked to each other. He is homesick, but besides that he  feels  fine. He works the night shift. He wants to train as stonemason. He has a strong character, he never complains.

Artsiom Prakapenka was convicted along with Jauhien Vaskovich and Paval Syramolatau to seven years in prison for attempted arson of KGB building in Bobruisk.

In September last year, Paval Syramolatau was released after a written request for a pardon. Artsiom Prakapienka and Jauhien Vaskovich refuse to write the request.
