A series of mini-documentaries “Chronicle of doomsday time”  consists of eight stories, dedicated to the members of the civil rights movement BAJ, persecuted for fighting for freedom of speech. Among them are the authors of publications and websites: Ales Bialiatski, Zmitser Bandarenka, Sergei Wozniak, Andrzej Poczobut, Natalia Radina, Paval Sewiaryniec, Anton Suriapin, Irina Khalip. Some of them have been given a ban on leaving the country, some have left the country, others are serving prison sentences.

“In the project were involved  many authors, among them Yury Khashchavatski and Sergei Isakov. We have set a goal to depart from the dry news reporting, while trying to tell a short, but informative history of each of the documentary’s protagonist, decorate the whole artistically. metaphorically, as the story concerns brave and interesting people”, – says Oleg Dashkievich, the project’s  coordinator.

Additionally, the main objective of the project is to express solidarity.

“I believe that the problem of solidarity is the most important in our society. Solidarity expressed not only in the face of the constant threat of repression and pressure, but also mutual solidarity between people. We made a documentary about different people, with different beliefs and engaged in different activities, who are, however, all focused on the issue of freedom. It is worth mentioning that our mini-documentaries have appeared on the pages of almost all independent media “, – said Oleg Dashkievich.
