Paval Sieviaryniets tries to answer all the letters he receives. Politician usually receives 3 letters a day.
“I have received more than thousand letters. Mainly people send me the words of support, Christmas cards, simple greetings. Sometimes I receive letters from the people who wrote to me when I was serving the the previous sentence in Malom Sitnie (…). I have promised myself that I will answer to all of them, although it is physically hard “- said Sieviaryniets.

Paval Sieviaryniets regrets the fact that he has little time to write articles for newspapers and deal with the party’s issues.

On 16 May 2011, Paval Sieviaryniets, who is the leader of the Belarusian Christian Democracy party,  was sentenced to 3 years of labour in a minimum security correctional facility for his participation in the protest of December 19, 2010.
